Virtual Open House scheduled for IVWCC's Adopt-A-Businesswoman Program Friday, September 9

In response to Hurricane Katrina, the International Virtual Women's Chamber of Commerce is launching the Adopt-A-Businesswoman Program to help Gulf Coast businesswomen get back on their feet. A virtual open house to introduce the program is scheduled Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11. It will start at 3 p.m. eastern.

The Adopt-A-Businesswoman Program will match Gulf Coast businesswomen with businesswomen from around the globe who can assist them with getting business equipment, web site updates, marketing, sales, transitioning their brick and mortar company online, coaching, accounting, virtual assistance and more at no cost.

Businesswomen who would like to donate new and used equipment, products and services, as well as those in need of business assistance, are invited to attend IVWCC's open house to get listed in the Adopt-A-Businesswoman donor database and network. IVWCC is conducting a fall drive to sign up lifetime members and gather content for the debut of its women's biz portal.
